Every age has it's own challenges and people tend to long for the days when they didn't have this brand new challenge to deal with. When the 18 month old is trying to open doors and go outside into the street while you spend 30 seconds peeing you're suddenly longing for the days they couldn't move.

TikTok currently has a ton of videos claiming Taylor Swift is selling a necklace with Nazi imagery because it has lightning bolts in the chain when 1. It is very clearly referencing the chorus of the song Opalite and 2. The SS lightning bolts were not shaped like that.

sitting and chatting with a civilian whose only purpose at the moment was to save a seat for a 3-star. Upon arrival, the 3-star was preceded by an aide who walked up, tapped the woman on the shoulder and the way she just stopped mid sentence, got up, and walked away with the aide was Pavlovian.

The pendant is clearly modeled off of a compass rose, not an Iron Cross. Compass roses are some of the most popular iconography in Western history and it's a bold move to claim that all of them are Nazi imagery.

The fact that the lightning bolts have points on the ends instead of squared ends and that there is only one of them instead of two is a pretty clear indicator that it's not an SS logo, unless you are also coming this hard for the Gatorade logo.

My cousin has always insisted that Indian Point should never have been built in that location and wouldn't have been allowed to be constructed under modern safety standards.

I have a cousin who lives in upstate NY and has spent his whole career in nuclear energy. There were a lot of people in the industry who, like him, had genuine concerns about how close the plant was to a major population center and its aging infrastructure. The problem is we didn't replace it.
