Chelsea and very socially liberal politics, so basically you'll get angry at something.

My knees being so borked I can't even play bowls is a fundamentally depressing experience.

See also: all this sport I'm playing in my early 30s? I'll still be playing it in my 50s/60s/70s (tennis/cricket/bowls respectively)

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Got this image of you walking through the car park towards the entrance when there's a 'thwhip' sound and a sharp pain in your thigh and you just turn around and head home.

When you're getting your topups at the hospital, do they use a syringe rifle or just drug your feed so you're asleep?

I completely disagree about this - Raab always struck me as the school bully, but a lower grade one who used to pick on the younger kids until one day a sixth former older brother turned up and gave him a kicking.

Your hard drinking lifestyle catching up with you?

(Hope it's not too serious and can be treated quickly. All the best.)

Those 5% reform voters that went for Wilson are definitely the 70+ year old former Labour voters that Starmer is desperate to chase aren't they?

It could have been any one of us.

A deified version of 'Maggie' is an article of faith for most Conservative voters, whereas the most successful labour leader on that list has a very, shall we say, chequered reputation amongst Labour voters.

What did I do to deserve that kind of unprovoked psychic attack?! 😉

Don't worry, I made my peace with the inevitable passage of time when I watched a kid born after 2000 score a century for my cricket team back in 2012

Erm... I'd accept level.

Agreed. And that's on the Labour supporters who plumped for 'don't know' when Brown was available.

Already had my salt beef, sauerkraut, pickle and american 'mustard' sandwich which was very nice.

I don't understand. John Major is on 2%.

(For all his flaws, that Major is behind Johnson and Cameron is an utterly damning indictment of the people they polled).

The iPlayer experience really isn't great, although I dread to think what their curation would look like for an occasional user of the service like me.

You goaded Stephen into this conversation, it doesn't count.

It is not for nothing that one of my first measures of raising tax is that it should be to a level so that one of his shonky legal fee campaigns should receive no more than 50 quid. If you're donating to Tiny Tommeh's legal fees - you can pay more tax.

Always makes me giggle that naive flag shaggers up and down the land fund all this and his many holidays. Utterly gullible fools.

I bet it did, was it sent to him by the Tates?
Prosecutor Jo Morris said that Mr Lennon had used an expletive at officers and had told them that his phone contained information about "vulnerable girls"

Why does he even do it any more? For the prize of a job in the conservative party? Is the second prize a lifelong tenured job in the conservative party?

(I do know why he does it, and it involves me using language that would make the 2017 world swearing champion blush)
