if there's an overarching theme of the last decade, (with obvious antecedents in 2009, 2000, 1994, and earlier) it's that one political faction believes governance to be a tool of warfare against their domestic enemies, and the other is surprised they keep getting attacked seemingly out of nowhere.

Such a difficult situation. I'm sorry. It is so hard. I work w older folks & they exhaust me. I dread aging myself more every day. While I hope I'll be all mature w no denial I've seen enough people who I thought would never be like that end up there. Strength to you.

I wonder if all the pages will be released. There may have been people who tried to stop it at different points but that wasn't the part of the article. In any case, absolutely awful. The Republicans own racism now.

I'm curious. How old is your Dad? Is there room for the possibility that he is losing some of his ability to focus? I've seen older folks losing their edge who may really be trying but are not able to do what is being asked of them. It sucks
