It’s easier and cheaper! Most of my online purchases come from independent shops or sites like ebay/etsy, so 80-90% of my packages come on Canada post

Incorrect, which I already proved above. Also the union is the only one proposing new revenue sources while the execs and the govt just want cuts. There are no countries without a national postal service and there are many reasons for that

Canada post is a business in the same way roads and schools are a business. They’re not supposed to make money. They exist because they’re necessary. Doesn’t mean things don’t need to be fixed internally, but Canada post does not exist to make a profit
