Latest ink sketch: Kurenai Mars (Sailor Mars/booze drinking martial arts brawler variant) full body and drunken face (XP) Think Sailor Mars but more free spirited and allowed to laugh and enjoy good old fashioned bar room brawls. She’s a Sailor Mars who after the death of leading new Sailor Guardians fell in disgrace but through the teachings of a drunken master and other martial artists refined her combat style and could be allowed to fight to her hearts content and protect to ensure no one else has to die under her watch. This Rei Hino became Kurenai (Japanese for deep red).

Eraserhead (1977): Completed. I've fallen behind on my 31 Days Challenge and Im making up for it by running through the day themes in marathon batches until I’m caught up. So Day 9’s theme is David Lynch. Eraserhead was a first time watch for me. I've seen some of David Lynch (RIP)’s film and this one had eluded me for a while. Great stuff and the black & white lended to its surreal and creepy atmosphere.

Sailor Moon SuperS (Rewatch): 2/39 eps. Just started this season. Arguanly considered the weakest season of the 90s anime. So far, the initial eps are alright. First episode is the better one. The art and animation direction in this season does become stellar. Dragon Ball Z Kai - The Final Chapters (Rewatch): 106/167 eps. The Z-Warriors Enter the budokai and Goku returns to the living realm. Next week, Trunks vs Goten! Episodes 105-106 this week were good. Mobile Fighter G-Gundam (Rewatch): 19/49. Cut down to just one episode this week after a few weeks of doubling up. Batman Beyond (Rewatch): 30/52 eps.
