Are they going to waive all fees for government documentation, passport photo and passport processing so that everyone can afford passports? They aren’t cheap, a lot of people simply can’t afford them.

Young Republicans say they love Hitler. But what does that tell us about their politics?

Meanwhile these are the same people who got mad that Biden strong-armed social media companies to stop spreading covid and vaccine disinformation. Huh.

Nearly 900,000 North Carolinians will see their health care premiums spike by double or more on average starting in January because DC Republicans would rather shut down the government than fix the health care crisis they've created.

This is not just funny, it's smart. We need more of this mockery that shows these thugs that we see their despicable fascism and give them the respect that they deserve.

So while they destroy our economy and use our taxes to oust immigrants who make it run smoothly, they’re also saying that they don’t want to hurt us by making shipping more expensive thru climate change initiatives, a short-term pain.

Why is that?
kryanoutloud.bsky.social
Rant incoming…

This administration very clearly is willing to put us thru financial pain to restructure our economy to best fill the wealthiest pockets. They said it would hurt short term, and it has. A lot. And it’ll only get worse once the food shortages show up from farms lacking helpers.

I’m happy about the hostages being released. What I’m not happy about is the 2 criminals involved. I don’t believe for a second their intentions are true to the cause but instead - to aid their own own agendas - to be released from any criminal charges. And w drump - there’s always that peace prize.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

I don’t understand why we need a “Columbus Day” when this country celebrates incompetent white men failing up and taking what isn’t theirs all year round.
kryanoutloud.bsky.social
The only reason I know it’s Columbus Day is bc of all of the Indigenous Day messages here and on KEXP.

Keep up the good work, folks! 🙌🏻
