It's no longer left versus right or even Democrat versus Republican.

It’s now democracy versus oligarchy. Freedom versus dictatorship. Right versus wrong.

Millions hit the streets this weekend in solidarity with each other and to affirm the foundations of the common good.

It costs ~$70 to produce a year’s supply of insulin.

Yet, the average annual cost of insulin went from $2,864 in 2012 to $5,705 in 2016 to $18,000 in 2025. A 25,714% markup. That isn’t inflation or supply chainβ€”It’s corporate greed.

Nowβ€”California will sell insulin for $11. Make this nationwide!
TFW one of your all-time favorite (and bestselling) authors gives your novel a shoutout! *twirls*

Watching Last Words from Jane Goodall. She left us with a powerful message of hope (and my girl liked whiskey)

Something to lower your heart rate & maybe give you hope: You can help out pollinators & other wild critters no matter where you live (if you want to, that is!) This piece on monarch butterflies, gardens, green-space advocates & biodiversity in NYC is very much my jam πŸ’šπŸ¦‹ www.vox.com/down-to-eart...
The most miraculous animal migration is happening in the middle of New York City
If we can help these creatures flourish in NYC, we can help them anywhere.

Yes, but….not in a vacuum. We need the corresponding infrastructure (schools, fire/EMS, Hospitals, transportation, etc.) strengthened to support the increase in our population.

From the data we've collected from fired State employees, here's what was lost on 7/11:

β€”20 Chinese speakers
β€”17 Russian/Ukrainian speakers
β€”14 Arabic speakers
β€”4 Farsi speakers
β€”4 Korean speakers
And that’s only a partial list.
At a time of shifting alliances, we've traded expertise for chaos.
Two years ago today, my debut novel, THE HINT OF LIGHT, met the world!
