all very reminiscent of how Brett Kavanaugh’s life was going to be “ruined” if he didn’t get to be on the Court over a few measly sexual assaults
"Oh so there's no path to redemption?" Sure there is. Most paths to redemption don't run through the U.S. Senate, though. Go, live a good life. Farm oysters. Diminish and go into the East and be an always improving Graham Platner. Do not be a Senator. And remove that fucking tat.

If you see a post from a 1-person micro business (even if only a sideline business) give them at least a repost?

Those people are working hard to make a success, and usually have FAR higher ethical values than corporations.

How hard is it for you to do a repost?

I'm not a politician – I don't have voters to keep happy. I'm not a journalistic commentator – I don't have a readership to keep happy.

I just make comments. That's it.

So here's another comment: on the basis of Peston's Lam interview, he should be fired and be made to clear his desk immediately.
And has @itvpeston.bsky.social plugged his f*cking brain in yet (on this subject)?
Probably not as it would do far more to get cars off the road, & resulting positive impact on transition from fossil fuels, health, & roads maintenance would more than cover it
Would be far better, less bureaucracy & equitable just to remove VAT & include e-bikes.

It's a crap scheme though that benefits higher rate tax payers a lot more.
The self employed or those not able to work can't access it. Also the employer has to be signed up for it.
A govt scheme for interest free loans for bikes and essentials for all would be far better.
Also scrap vat on bikes
Cycle to Work Scheme a “real success story”, says transport minister – as new report claims scheme delivers £573m annual boost to UK economy and saves commuters over £1,200 a year

No surprises here: the malicious communications charge was always a ridiculous stretch, and the others very unclear… No charges over Trump-Epstein projection onto Windsor Castle www.bbc.com/news/article...

Mike Graham tried to troll me once by pointing out to his numbskull acolytes that I use a pen name.

It was all going so well... until I pointed out that his real name is Archibald.

Hilarity ensued.

Me: So apparently there’s something wrong with this German tattoo and I need to change it

Tattoo lady: How about something Norse?

Me: Yeah I see nothing wrong with that

Tattoo lady: Or Imperial Rome

Me: I like the way you think

Looking at it, the image in the second photo was taken a second or two later than the one posted to twitter as a few of the people are in slightly different positions.

Amazing hacker being able to find a second photo on Mike's phone taken straight after the first.

Lets bust some NHS worker myths shall we (based on real travel surveys).
75-80% do not work shifts
0nly a third need to travel between sites.
76% drive to work on their own.
60% live less than 5 miles from work.

During those 2 years spent inside the car, 2.4 million people will have been killed globally from road crashes

Strange the advertisers fail to mention that
Trapped in traffic and stuck travelling long distances to work because of car-centric planning?

Be grateful, says Mercedes-Benz’s latest advert which aims to persuade us that spending two years of our lives stuck inside a car is somehow actually a good thing.

This case stems from the systemic failure & subsequent cover-up revealed by 2020 Russia Report. Boris Johnson refused to investigate but what is UK govt's excuse now??

Read about this 5-year campaign & why it's even more necessary than ever now.

Oh no, Daily Telegraph, it wouldn't, which is why you're writing it.

People who are generally upset with how their lives are going, and also feel there are too many people around who look different, can never actually be appeased.

Not by Brexit, not by eliminating FoM, not by new taxes or fees, not by ending ILR, not by denaturalizing not by anything.

First question defence lawyer should ask each of these ‘nurses’

“Why did you go to the media before instigating proceedings at the Tribunal?”

Let Naomi Cunningham cough and splutter for them, but MAKE these christo-fascist fuckers answer the question.

Their claim should then be struck-out.
