Excited for when the Indiana GOP pushes a bill pre-empting communities on data centers.

“Sorry rural Hoosiers. You don’t get a say in this. We need these data centers because that roboporn has to be generated somewhere”

More than a dozen protein powders tested for toxic metals were found to have unsafe or concerning amounts of lead, nonprofit watchdog Consumer Reports said Tuesday. Average lead levels in such products appear to be worsening compared to years prior.
Unsafe amounts of lead found in some protein powders, report says
More than two-thirds of the 23 protein powders tested by Consumer Reports had lead levels exceeding the watchdog group’s daily intake safety standards.

I’m happy to say that both nazi text messages from a GOP group chat and shitty text messages from the democratic Virgina AG candidate are wrong.

All involved (the one democrat and the hundreds of republicans) should resign.

I think what really gets me here is how much the right seems to ignore that “two wrongs don’t make a right”

So while, yes, these people are dangerous, and far more numerous than we would like, their actual support is smaller than it would seem. They’re ability to hold power hangs on their ability to take advantage of gerrymandering, voter suppression, and other rules in our system

I refuse to believe that this is a majority in our country. We live under minoritarian rule. Even here in deep red Indiana, the republican governor only got 55% of the vote, but the republicans hold 80% of the state senate seats. It’s the same story in many red states.

Again, this is not what needs to be done. "Why are you breaking the law & violating the Constitution & your oath of office?" is the question. When he doesn't answer it, the next journalist needs to ask it, & then the next one, & the one after that. Stop giving him & John Thune free passes every day.

FOX: You said last week that you would swear in Grijalva whenever she wants. She has written a letter to your office. You have not sworn her in. Doesn't your resistance add fuel to the fire that this is about Epstein?

MIKE JOHNSON: No. This is another partisan manufactured thing

You gently run your hand through the rack. You can feel it—pure cotton, rich wool, Irish linen. The plump buttonholes are handsewn; the buttons attached with a firm shank. You flip the price tag over. It's affordable

You buy the jacket and go home, which is only 15 mins away. Your apt is $600/month

Wow. Trump's masked federal agents tear-gassed a crowd in Chicago and ended up gassing a bunch of local Chicago cops who were there to *deescalate tensions.* One local cop was captured on film washing out his eyes with a hose:

The use of AI to marionette a woman whose tortured existence was spent trying to carve her own life and identity out of the space men forced her into is both damningly macabre and a surprisingly perfect encapsulation of the problems with this ghoulish use of technology.

The Portland Frog army has now infiltrated Tulsa, OK and they’ve made an unlikely alliance with the T-Rex infantry and Sharks on Hoverboards mercenary forces.

This is truly terrifying.

There are thousands of local republican electeds across the country, and I really wonder sometimes how many of them realize that there are literal Nazis on their bandwagon. They have an R next to their name for whatever reason, but they genuinely care about their communities.

while 'young republicans are literal nazis' is well known to folks here, the extent of it is surprisingly not that commonly known even in media and analyst circles, let alone normal people.
