While I get the goal of "this is an Xbox", I really think it's lead to confusion on stuff like this. I see so many people weirded out by it having windows features or not playing certain xbox titles you own and like....it's because it's a PC. The new UI is cool, doesn't make it not Windows.

The fact that the average is scratching close to 7 makes me much more interested in picking it up and giving it a go. Given its troubled history I had already figured 4 or below was a possibility, 6/7 is potentially fun jank territory that I’m more than happy to dive into.

Oh round 1 is so damn fun. It’s a bit location dependent but it’s like the last good chain where you can find imported rhythm games and other neat cabs. The one by me has Theatrythm All Star Carnival and it calls to me.

I played the OG growing up and always recalled it feeling like a much larger game. When I played the remaster and killed it in a single evening I was shaken lol. 2 really amps up play time via some interesting reasons to do multiple play throughs.

On Monday, Yacht Club Games delayed the much-anticipated upcoming game Mina the Hollower.

On Tuesday, I visited their studio and saw the game. It made for a rare glimpse at why a video game gets delayed and what "polish" actually means.

Thanks to @square-enix-games.com I got to check out Seventh Heaven at Boba Bear! Got to have a tasty drink, a churro, Christine won me a Red XIII plushie in a claw machine, and best of all we got photobombed by Hamaguchi who just sat down next to us while getting a photo. Great time.

I usually hate a lot in English VO, especially when it’s added to a thing where I might already have a sound in my head from ages ago, but it really stuck in this one. Joe Pitts in particular really landed Ramza’s growth over time and becoming more confident in his ideals.

While I did go absolutely feral for the FF set, it does feel like keeping UB to Secret Lair drops, especially reskinned, would have been a better a balance to preserve Magic's identity while having fun crossovers.

But also certain UBs are raking in money and WOTC clearly likes it, so here we are.
