Just because you may think that Alastor’s redemption is endgame doesn’t mean people can’t address his CURRENT malicious behavior. Viv straight-up said in response to a similar question about him that a big part of redemption is that you have to WANT to change, which he hasn’t been seen displaying.

I’m gonna come out and say that I’ve always been a bit disdainful of people who always self-victimize for shipping a “controversial” m/f couple. Unless you have good proof of actual bigotry, one less heteronormative pairing is not the fucking worst thing to happen, much less warrant smear campaigns.

I find it unnecessary tbh. I grew up with several Christians who celebrated Halloween and even held Halloween events at churches. Most Christians know that Halloween is just playing pretend, these ones however seem to take it too far with the sanitization.
