The most awful, cruel and clueless government ever, and yet the Left bloc are still not in front.

This is 100% down to Labour being as insipid and milquetoast in opposition as they were in (absolute) power.

I'm not holding out hope that their tax policy will be anywhere near what is needed

With Chippy's climate policy bonfire in 2023 after two terms of Jacinda keeping the CC Minister outside cabinet, a weak target, no new coal ban as promised, I have very little faith in Labour's commitment on climate change, esp Chippy.
This press release is more interesting for what it doesn't say.

He has hated TPM since they started, probably because he was an advisor to Helen Clark and Trevor Mallard in the mid-2000s (around the time of the Foreshore and Seabed Act when Tariana split from Labour)
