The word for tailor in Ukrainian is “kravets’” and it’s in my flash cards this week, and every time, I think of TAZ Kravitz. But I was like, it’s coincidence, Kravitz is like named for Lenny Kravitz or something. Then today I found out Lenny Kravitz has Ukrainian Jewish ancestry 😂

I met my previous online group because I went to a Zoom graduation party during the start of COVID, stayed until there were only 4 of us on, and then started talking about dnd. They wanted to play too, so we started to put a group together! 5 years later, we all just went to a wedding together 🥰

I met my current group bc my colleague couldn’t go to a happy hour and asked me to network in his stead. I mentioned I love dnd to a woman I barely knew, and 3 years later I’m in TWO campaigns and these people are probably my lifelong best friends

Sometimes I’ll mention I play dnd and people will respond with something like “HOW do you find a dnd group??” and honestly, the only advice I can give is to talk about dnd with literally everyone and you’ll either get a list of people who are interested or find a group already going

Once again: this is also happening in DC. Still.

It feels like we’ve been forgotten, maybe because there aren’t huge confrontations to run photos of. But our neighbors are still being taken every day. Routine traffic stops are now done by 12+ feds alongside local police.
