If nothing else, the last nine months should have made it clear that elections matter. But what’s remarkable about America is that we have the power, as citizens, to change this country by voting. Go to IWillVote.com.
Hope you have a relaxing weekend planned!
Hope you’re feeling better today.
Whereas mine yelled for her colleagues to come and feel/see mine.
ALERT: At the podiatrist and he says I have the best feet in the world! “They should be in a museum,” he claims
Amazing! A huge achievement, very well done to you.
The teacher-like itch to correct the woman on this train who is confidently asserting that Jeremy Clarkson’s mother wrote the Paddington bear stories. Apparently, she made them up as bedtime stories. Google tells me she did sell soft toys.

Haha! Worrying it might have bled through to next door.
Morning. I’ve woken up to a white striped patio. Husband did some painting last night and washed the brushes/trays in our kitchen sink. Drain must have overflowed. It’s now dried on the slabs. Eeek.
Side-effect of being unable to eat on the right side since June is weight gain. All my usual healthy snacks are crunchy or chewy. Pappy, seedless, soft things are low risk from a pain perspective. Diabolical for my hips!
Finally have my referral through and first hospital assessment next week 🤞

I hope next week is better! Dear me. Hope you are also feeling better in yourself.
Slow and steady wins the race. Also a high five to you! I did my gym induction yesterday. I’m on ‘weight of the machine only’ level, but that’s better than no weight at all.

I had a torch under mine so I could secretly read under the covers, most of the night sometimes (I often had sore joints). My poor eyes, no wonder I was at minus 5.75 by 13 🙃

We have progressed from data collection to data analysis.
Me three! Was I the only one who put things under my mattress to see how much I could feel it?!?
See: walking round on up to three broken midfoot bones for 4 months (they weren’t sure when I finally got a scan as it had pretty much healed). I have arthritis in it now.
I survived gym induction. Unimpressed by bloke grunting and counting very loudly as he used the machines. Noise cancelling headphones ahoy.
Halloween reminds me of my friend. In 1986 he launched a ‘tactical assault’ on a ‘haunted’ church, illegally wearing his TA gear. He fell sideways into a ditch and broke his right arm and ankle. They had to cut his uniform off. This is the church (not the story). www.essexlive.news/news/essex-n...

A past line manager once told me in an appraisal that I’m like working with ‘a middle aged Tigger.’
Sometimes, my enthusiasm to sort things out and make things better can be misconstrued as criticism. It’s really not. I’ve just spotted something and it’s yelling at me.
