That's the problem with the messaging. Everyone thinks they have to give someone else their money. Nobody talks about the fact that most programs that help lift others (in any way) end up putting more back into the economy than they take in.

The political response (IMO) is an attack on Republicans for accusing their own constituents of being "illegal."
