In the audience tonight is Charlotte Bennett, one of the 13 women that Andrew Cuomo is credibly alleged to have sexually harassed while they worked in his government.

She can't speak for herself because Cuomo's lawyers have hounded her.

Hard to believe it’s been 24 years. I remember turning on the TV, right before the 2nd plane hit.

The events of Sep 11, 2001 united this nation. No matter who you were or what you looked like, we were all brothers and sisters. I’m these dark times we would do well to remember that kind of unity.

This is not about cost. If you militarize every street in this country crime will go down but you are then living in a military state. That is not what this country wants/needs. That is fascism and authoritarian rule and the people will rise up against it. Crime is already down across this nation.
