Saw they have these cameras up at old 8 and county Rd D the other day.

Other places all over Ramsey county, thinking need to get a map of the stationary ones started.
ICE had access to a nationwide network of AI-enabled surveillance cameras that constantly track vehicles', and by extension peoples, movements without a warrant www.404media.co/ice-secret-s...
The problem with "learning excel" is every few years Microsoft changes everything around, moves somethings, break somethings, disabled really useful functionality and replaced it with something stupider.

Learning Excel is a continueing process, because Microsoft and can't leave well enough alone.
When talking to alumni who hire graduating students one of their biggest complaints is they don't know Excel well enough. It concerns me as it's not a great tool for accuracy, but it's widespread. Also, to add employability to liberal arts degrees, Excel skills are an excellent & easy skill to add.
You know what tool existed when I was in high school that no one ever taught me how to use? Excel. A thing I use all the time now, mostly self-taught, existed in the late 1990s and no one was upending the curriculum to make sure I knew how to use it.
Dunning Kruger Linux.
I think there is a sweet spot for Linux as a desktop where you either don't know enough about computers and linux works great, or you know too much about computers and it works great.

It's basically the bell curve idiot-genius meme.
Chickens producing more eggs.

I remember when eggs sometimes had brown eggs, or slightly different sizes/shapes, or double yokes before machine sorting made all those things cost extra...

Anyhow fresh eggs make me think of that king of the hill: "Hank, if this is food what have we been eating?"
Question reporters should be asking speaker Johnson "Now that you've ceded the last bit of Congressional authority to Trump, what do you plan to do in retirement after Trump disbands Congress?"

Follow up "Do you plan to be as ineffective in that as you were as speaker of the house?"
You got to stay on top of that out it could do permanent damage to the phone!
Cell phone bulging at the seams with text messages.
In the 90's we had bras for cars, no reason that in 2025 we can't have reflective vests for cars.

Frankly, I suspect big auto body is to blame for the lack of hi-vis car safety vests.

Saw an ad for one the other day that claimed to start out at a brush igniting 3,000 lumens and slowly scale back to a reasonable brightness over a half hour to save battery life while "tricking your eyes" into seeing better in the lower lighting.
Bicycle headlights have two settings: Anemic Firefly and Reignite the Sun
No but a single skeet doesn't leave space to describe the relationship trunk and his psycophants (his whole cabinet) that most of us already understand exists...
Trump mistaking something for meaningful does not make it meaningful, or vice versa.

I'm not gonna dismiss the protests cause getting under Trump's skin is it's own reward.
He deserves the records for most days in charge of a shutdown government, most impeachments, and biggest protests crowds.
When naked cyclists are threatening to you (simply by existing), you might be a coward.

Or you might have pissed off nude cyclists enough that you suspect they'd rip you limb from limb with no weapons, no clothes, and then simply ride away...

Either way you're life has not been well lived.
U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson calls Sunday's naked bike ride in protest of the Portland ICE facility and and Trump troop deployment "the most threatening thing I’ve seen yet"

Cops are going to have a field day writing tickets for headlights off in the rain
I mean if home owners insurance rates on FL can move the Overton window on climate change why not car insurance in Chicago?
With the amount of damage to cars in Chicago, I have to wonder if State Farm isn't going to be what eventually tames the federal government with lawsuits.
Anyone else remember when Google just said "did you mean:" when it saw a typo instead of getting all judgy about it?
While the search quiet contains a typo, the underlying question appears to be about the...
Really think we need to fox news this up.

TRUMP GOING TO FORCE MORE SOY INTO AMERICAN DIET TO COVER UP HIS INEPTITUDE AT NEGOTIATING WITH CHINA.

TRUMP SAYS AMERICAN SOY BOYS ARE NOT ONLY GOOD FOR AMERICA BUT REQUIRED.

TRUMP SAYS EAT SOY, OR STARVE.

TRUMPONOMICS AND THE END OF BEEF, RISE OF SOY.
"AMERICAN CARNAGE, AND ONLY I CAN FAIL TO CREATE IT!"
one of the reasons they're so mad at "no kings" is that they thought they were going to get a different kind of protest. they *want* the black bloc to be out there fighting with the cops. those are the images they've been trying to generate from "go." instead--

MAGA Rage at “No Kings” Boils Over—and It Quickly Backfires on Trump
As Trump allies smear the coming protests, a good writer on MAGA skewers the absurdity of these attacks on large swaths of Americans—and explains why our best recourse will be to turn out in force.

Would like the Atlantic to list off the caffeine containing plants that grow well in the continental US.

Specifically those we could drop into the soy bean fields in the mid west to provide a substitute for coffee. To be safe from tariffs.

Killing global trade was a bad idea. Full stop.
Fellas, is it gay to be allergic to women?
500 troops to Chicago, 200 to Gaza...
Most of these folks ICE hired haven't ever seen a US passport, after all having experiences outside of the US is pretty close to being disqualifying for being hired at ICE.
That's the one where they blew up the foot ball field?

I'm sure getting that rebuilt (with tax payer dollars) ensuring the city could support a team going forward would be top priority (before rebuilding the bridges in/out of the city, definitely before addressing the individual human suffering)
There is a version of Hamlet where Picard plays Dr. Who's father and uncle, very well done, might be about to are it on Amazon prime?

Think it's my favorite Hamlet I've seen.
most kids would be better taught Shakespeare by a few viewings of Star Trek: The Next Generation than the way his work is traditionally taught
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat
*I learned one thing from her class: Monsters are real, at least one of them teaches 9th grade English in Chicago land (or maybe she doesn't any more, if she were human she'd surely be dead by now, but who can say if she caught a wooden stake to the heart or a silver bullet in the last ~3 decades.)
Opening of Romeo and Juliet reads like a Monty Python sketch:
"Do you bite your thumb at me?" "I do bite my thumb sir." vs. "This parrot has ceased to be!"

But the daggers 9th grade English "teacher"* shot from her eyes the two of us that giggled...
