Oh, and in the process of adjournment the current Mayor lost it and shoved a couple of old men. All very unseemly and brings shame on our council.

Another thing, the agenda did not contain a covering report from officers so was likely to fail the tests in S14 of the LGA (risk of judicial review).

After significant discussion around whether the matter constitutes an emergency (it doesn't) and whether this is an appropriate way to raise a complaint about the election ( it's a matter for individuals or a group of at least 10 electors, not council) the meeting was adjourned until tomorrow.

After a day spent mostly feeling incandescent rage, dusk bought the joy of watching Almost 17, 13 and a Half and Four playing football together.

Four in goal, the bigguns taking turnabout attack/defence. Four also apparently the ref, handing out red cards to Almost 17 with abandon.

Remembering the time a uni friend told me about feeding a whole sheep carcass to a pig. Took several hours to devour then keeled over, and they thought they had killed it.

This is all ultimately about who controls the Mangawhai-Kaiwaka-Topuni triangle as the motorway comes north. Jepson and Larsen and the other Mangawhai Mafia developer interests have their fingers deep into this whenua.

Is it possible to be a right wing property and investment guy in AoNZ with multiple business ventures using the word Zenith and not be tied up with ZAP/Zenith Applied Philosophies...like Frank Newman of Democracy Northland and NZCPR is?
