Ha! Sorry I should have mentioned that! The Mrs took the precaution of planting them in raised beds. It'll probably still spread though 😬. We are surrounded by sheep and cow grazing though, so the beasts will take care of the neighbours' land, as will ours.

In addition, the Mrs planted a lot of Buddleias, Liatris Spicata and Knapweed (Centaurea Nigra). *Everything* went CRAZY for the Knapweed; solitary bees, butterfles, hoverflies, wasps and the honeybees of course.

Ours are on a pretty diverse diet: heather, Himalayan balsam (invasive over here), Linden trees, rapeseed and mixed native wildflowers (for reference I'm in the Peak District National Park) visitpeakdistrict.com

Beautiful! Looks quite dark, what are your bees foraging on over there? Agree with you on extraction. I'm also loathe to take any unless there's a huge excess 👍. In the UK this year we had such a warm spring the ladies could barely find anywhere to put it all! Here's a jar of ours (see Alt text).

A jar of honey from one of my Warré hives. As there are no frames or foundation in Warré hives I was able to cut out some beautiful comb as well which you can see in the jar.

Under Over Over - West Hampstead

So it's taken a while, but I've finally found a location where you can clearly see London Underground trains traveling over London Overground trains.

The vantage point is at West Hampstead Overground station at the end of the platform.
