Okay, maybe not *yelling*

Should we assume that if a very popular product isn’t included, it has safe levels of lead? Because I’m kinda shocked not to see Premier on this list; it’s available at literally every grocery and drug store within 10 minutes‘ drive from my house, including being one of the few options at Costco

I’ve only heard the first two eps but as someone in the industry I’m pretty pleased with this show so far. Both eps have approached their topics from smart and interesting angles, and both have surprised me with stuff I didn’t know.

Before Fortnite and Call of Duty ruled the scene, the US Army quietly shaped the early 2000s with a wildly popular, free shooter designed to excite young people about enlisting.

I really hope everyone got to see Frelick clearly yelling “what the fuck just happened?”

Anyone else having massive choppiness and dropping sound on the NLCS on HBO Max?

I mean, I probably shouldn’t complain, it was quite a feat for this scrappy upstart streaming platform (a family business apparently!) to land these games…

That said, I‘ve now worked on like three consulting reports in a row which needed to include some variation of “this is good, but just so you know, chuds are gonna jump on this, this, and this element”

Everyone’s so, so worried that their game might get bad PR from outrage farmers that they forget that normal people like things that say things and will celebrate them loudly. And at worst, most reasonable folks don’t mind that they say stuff, because they are functioning adults.

As someone who came later to the game than most, the fact that a walkoff tiebreaker win can be by 1, 2, or 4, but never 3, is my favorite kind of baseball trivia that I kind of knew but never really thought about.

My second favorite is when there’s a crazy unlikely and obscure way it could be 3.

You know what Bose is great for? NPR. Sincerely, my mother-in-law.

(That clock radio-looking thing really does do voice well. It’s almost as if it spikes the mids at the expense of everything else.)

So I suggest looking into an option to include SOMEthing on the right, even if it’s just space. And if you wanna get crazy, maybe have width adjustable? (Skeets allows custom padding, which is nice, but that app has other issues IMO.)

Posts get stretched out so long that it looks super-weird. Boost is not alone in this, to be clear! But I would kill for an iPad app that includes awtake on the righthand sidebar from the web view—or at least more white space (on both sides) to get post width in line with the width in portrait view.

Nice! Clean and snappy, and the pricing of Premium (and what’s locked behind it) is totally reasonable. (A pay-once option would be nice too though!)

The one thing that’s keeping me in the (uggh so buggy) web app is the landscape view on iPad:
