I was watching a flick called Champions that was filmed in Winnipeg but based in Des Moines... which is kinda a low blow, except the big prize at the end was a trip to Winnipeg, so I guess that made up for it

Sarault is going to be one to watch in Milan-Courtina.

After some injury and over-training issues in prior years, she took some time off last season, and now looks to be in incredible condition. Dominating races, and almost looks like a different skater.

Growing up I always admired these big wicker bowls my mom had, for some reason I thought they were fancy and she brought them back from Hawaii in the 70's

Finally asked about them... turns out, no, she got them at Zeller's in the 80's for less than a dollar each
