As media and world leaders fall over themselves to praise Trump the peacemaker, a reminder that the United States funded the genocide and vetoed a ceasefire six times.

But I don't have fear. I have to remind myself of the science just to maintain my resolve.

Are non believers welcome too?

The Spectator (owned by GBNews owner Paul Marshall - estimated wealth of £800 million) doesn’t like taxing wealth fairly.

I wonder how they got to this editorial decision?

Let’s tax wealth fairly, fund front line services & make hope normal again.

Polanski is talking nonsense about wealth taxes.

This is going to be a very frustrating episode of the #CovidInquiry. We are going to be hearing a lot of lockdown narrative, giving no credit for the absolute and tardily addressed need to reduce transmission. Our paltry lockdowns saved many lives. Some of the impacts on schools were poorly handled.

Gavin Williamson assessment on “obstacles” to kids returning to schools in January 2021 - I didn’t think it was justified - Covid wasn’t going to have an impact on children’s health - we had good understanding on which were vulnerable to covid. #LongCovidKids #CovidInquiry

Love 'cult-de-sac'. Love this kind of thing. One of my favourite examples is 'well, we'll burn that bridge when we come to it', an enjoyably fatalistic mistaken phrase.

Great article. The Tories need their Kinnock if they are going to get out of the cult-de-sac* they've gone down.

*Auto correct but I kind of liked it.

I'm pretty sure it's jerks accumulate. They're selfish and self-centred and they're not bothered by ethics.

And come to that, SNP, Plaid Cymru...?

The thing is, this is not just covid conscious tub-thumping. Activists do get sick. They miss key events. They suffer 'brain fog'. They get disabled. They lose their ability to continue to be active. With Covid at about 1/50 or so in UK, these things WILL happen. Why do that to your supporters?
jgreen63.bsky.social
Yeah. Don't be put off by that. It can feel like lack of interest but to be fair, with the GP, it's mostly lack of resources (and a degree of disorganisation!). There's a lot of justification of behaviours within progressive groups when it's something they want to do, though.

Healthy indoor air is a proven prescription for public health that can help fortify our buildings and enhance people’s health, protecting against respiratory diseases and illnesses, cardiovascular disease and cognitive decline.

OK. You should too.

Is that really a deal breaker? There are green policies I don't fully support but they remain a party with an ethical core not working for billionaires.
jgreen63.bsky.social
Can you elaborate? What leads you to this assessment?
jgreen63.bsky.social
This is a bloody good point.

Always makes me giggle that naive flag shaggers up and down the land fund all this and his many holidays. Utterly gullible fools.
