All while a certain segment of the population is so angry, racist, violent, and gullible that they will vote to lose the right to vote, own a gun, and their access to healthcare, infrastructure, education, or retirement — so long as they get to openly hate anyone brown, woman, LGBTQ, disabled, etc

We’re bringing back measles and polio, mishandling readiness for future pandemics, and shutting down evidence based harm reduction programs. We’re making flying more dangerous, dismantling food safety oversight, and gutting education.

Because we can’t be arresting and deporting thousands of people per day, destroying our supply chains and raising costs on the population through tariffs, and destroying jobs and ecosystems with AI, and still expecting growth.

We love certainty. We want to know who we are...to have a clean, confident story about ourselves.

But that certainty can become a cage. The moment we define ourselves too tightly, we limit what’s possible.

What if, instead of saying “I am this,” we said, “I’m currently becoming this”?

As we get more reports of ICE thugs detaining Americans, it should be noted that Timothy Snyder made it crystal clear from the onset of ICE raids that NO ONE would be safe.

People tell ICE: "I'm an American." They illegally detain us anyway.

Bc WE already let them erode due process for immigrants.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

The Senate has just passed the military NDAA containing 2 anti-trans provisions: a surgery ban using federal funds (dependents too), and a sports ban on military academy spaces.

This will be the STARTING point for negotiations with the House, which has even worse provisions.

Only 20 Dems opposed.
