Read this. No really read this if you’re Canadian (Americans in the trenches won’t be disappointed either). 👇👇👇
What is unfolding across North America is a hybrid civil war, distributed across jurisdictions, layered through institutions, fought not just for territory but for control of meaning and legitimacy. The appearance of order is the weapon. Chaos is the policy.

If you needed more proof that the coup in the US has Russian fingerprints all over it: cybersecurity trainings are now officially too woke for real warriors.

"Mandatory Department training will be directly linked to warfighting or otherwise be consolidated, reduced in frequency, or eliminated."

"This class struggle against big capital has the potential to push agroecology and food sovereignty further along at the same time. It’s time for all of us in these movements to engage in and expand this struggle and to take it on where we live." thestruggleforland.substack.com/p/democratic...
Democratic Supermarketism

conscient-podcast.simplecast.com/episodes/e23...

This roundtable is presented by the Public Imagination Network about how artists contribute to social change and how the evaluation of art can shape public life.

It's all fraud framed as innovation.
Don't trust AI and don't trust the people who believe AI can and should be trusted. Applying this concept to your use of AI is potent and powerful.

Odd. We speculate cyberattack as soon as the lights flicker somewhere. But not when the first satellite that could precisely pinpoint methane leaks emanating from a ruthless multi-trillion-dollar industry mysteriously dies on orbit.
MethaneSAT 'likely not recoverable,' lost its link to Earth
: Methane monitoring satellite managed just over a year in orbit before its sudden demise

As a sign of what's wrong with Canada: the government is offering free rides on VIA rail for people under 17. The catch? You have to be accompanied by an adult. 🤦‍♂️ What a wasted opportunity. Let the kids roam the country. 🤠

Bill 5 should be opposed as part of #ElbowsUp , as what Doug Ford is trying to do is no different than what Donald Trump wants to do.

Unfortunately, the hypocricy of those who uphold a settler-colonial mindset is extreme.

Why I don't believe Alberta is bullied by extractive industries such as Big Oil
Over the years I have read many articles discussing how people believe the province of Alberta has a cycle of abuse with Big Oil.

Jesse Hirsh and I speak from the future.

Well, Jesse spoke from the future when it comes to thinking about the current state of individualism and “western civilization”, and I was left wondering how long it will take loyalists to those worldviews to catch up to him.

I like Wab Kinew not just because he's got solid politics, but also because he always seems to be enjoying the ride. I hope it attracts people to public service thinking that it can be rewarding and fun.
