More trivia about Gladiator Voltron/Albegas; finding the entire set is apparently extremely difficult.

Red and Black robots are easy to find on ebay and other sites…but the blue robot is very rare, apparently due to the blue plastic being VERY brittle, resulting in many of them being broken.

Just an appreciation post for Lighstpeed Electroid Albegas, aka "Gladiator Voltron" aka the Voltron that never was.

This was meant to be the third iteration of Voltron, adapting the aforementioned anime in to a third season. But when vehicle Voltron flopped, the plan was scrapped.

The Conquest design anticipated itself, in a sense, as a much closer real world equivalent came roughly a decade later in the form of the Russian Sukhoi SU-47.

TOY DESIGN TRIVIA;

I still love how the G.I. Joe Conquest X-30 jet is based on the real life Grumman-29 forward-swept wing jet, designed and tested in part by NASA.

I just love how they took these experimental designs as inspo, making them into high quality toys.

The title is pretty self explanatory, but…the basic plot is that Indy is in a race with the nazis to find the lost city of Atlantis, which both sides believe had advanced technology.

A graphic adventure from 1992, this is one of my favorite old school PC games of all time.

It’s as good or better than any of the films, and I see it as the true fourth entry in the saga.
