The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers. Never got the respect it was due, at least on this side of the pond, I never see it on any best of lists. Some lyrics maybe haven't aged the best but a brutally honest, sometimes clumsy, sometimes ugly big time Rock album. Make sure you listen to the US Mix.
