Have a look at the Courier Mail site today. There was a line man with a knife in the Botanic Gardens. It looks like an ICE raid, men in black with balaclavas/masks covering their faces & other men - police, I guess - in camouflage, also with masks. They think they are at war.

Just sent a message to my lovely sister in the US telling her I'm not going to the US next year when I go to Mexico & Canada.

I feel bad about not visiting her but I can't suspend my care or fear about what's happening there.
