He's likely currently bitching to his advisers that "these protesters are too stupid to realize that if I remove ISP, we'll get the National Guard and the courts won't protect us anymore." That is their main argument, that they need a million ISPers at Broadview to stop the NG from being deployed

If you moved even just half of the Illinois State Police currently helping ICE at Broadview to East Side, you wouldn't be seeing this shit. If you must have 5,000 ISP at Broadview to placate federal judges (not that SCOTUS ultimately will care), you could at least send some to neighborhoods too

Such an important point he makes that the protests are not just the professional left that is always at these rallies. So many Chicagoans (including many who disagree with the left on other issues) are putting aside differences and showing up/finding common ground on this issue over everything else
