The same way they’re saying that being violently homophobic is in fact loving, bc the most loving thing to do is to share the truth to someone about their sins (and Christ blabla)…

A 20 ans je voyais déjà des effets visibles du changement climatique par rapport à quand j’étais gamin, et y a des types de +60 ans qui viennent te sortir que c’est juste les saisons et qu’ils y a absolument rien de nouveau prc que le changement climatique n’existe pas

Yeah I’m in a similar situation, I need to be in HRT even if I don’t like that, since I was forced to take HRT at ~12yo. I also clearly need reparative surgery, it’s mostly to try to minimise the damage on the outside of the genitals and urethra from mutilations. But a small part of it -

Same. So it’s not only in the US. Also when intersex is quite international DSD is an English acronym so I clearly don’t see it used in French or German except by “gender critical” and bioessentalists

As far as I know, except stupid people who believe you need to fit their arbitrary criteria to be “intersex enough”, the push to stop using intersex is mostly linked to the anti trans pushback and anti trans legislation. And it’s probably not a coincidence that the normalisation of “DSD” is-

Not that I don’t want you to call you the way you want, but I have more of a problem when DSD is used as a general term and a way to erase intersex identity and decades of activism, and again about what it is implying. Also as we both explained a lot of people view the use of DSD as -

-the fact we said our bodies are legitimate the way they are doesn’t mean we aren’t also completely legitimate to wanting/needing to change it. But we strongly disagree with the medical view of being intersex as an issue in itself for being male/female “wrong”. That’s not the issue.
