Waves left the beach wet making the sky reflect in it. Dark and white waves are coming in bringing foam to the beach. The top left part of the sky is clear. The rest is filled with dark dramatic rain clouds with a horizontal lighter layer on the right. This must be heaven for painters 🎨. It was for me too 😇. Although I don't paint. We don't need me to paint. Trust me 😉.

The upper portion of the picture is an amazing blue sky with almost evenly spaced white clouds. The foreground is gray rock with a large gray rock on the left irregularly shaped and a flatter portion of the rock closer to the viewer. Fall foliage in yellow and orange can be seen along the edge of the rock edge midway of the picture , with dark green, spruce pine trees, providing a pretty contrast. The clouds above throw dark shadows on a sunny day across hills, extending into the distance to a blue horizon line. Overall a stunning effect.

Good morning from Vermont, where the trees are letting go. The blaze of color is nearly past, and now some leaves drift down like quiet goodbyes. The air smells like woodsmoke and damp earth, and the hills are starting to show their bones. It’s a season of release. I am grateful to be here and alive
