The parts of the media still amplifying Ley’s mindless claim that Rudd’s position is untenable - this includes some in the national broadcaster - are pathetic. These same voices were silent through so much of the Morrison clown show. Their bias could not be more hypocritical.
Maybe his interest in Julian Assange’s release, but his involvement was decidedly a mixed bag. While he showed interest, it’s not at all clear that he helped that much. His motives also don’t quite add up, but that’s Joyce all over really.
Queensland has never called itself the clever state.
Well, the view from my hotel room is… something. Second pic is straight down.
This a million times over.

By the way, if Albanese had 1% of Trump’s malice, Clennell would be cavity searched by border force trying to reenter Australia. Then detailed for 72 hours.

But this is a country of law, and doesn’t use the government to prosecute petty grievances.
Hey media,

The 'awkward' or 'embarrassing' part of the White House meeting was Andrew Clennell selling out his country for a gotcha.

Not Trump having a go at Rudd.

Clennell should be absolutely ashamed of himself for trying to bait Trump to dump on Australia

In 30 years of business travel on Qantas, I’ve been upgraded twice. Once was a Qantas Club “complementary” (ie. paid) upgrade, the second was when the cabin lead saw me so exhausted I was about to collapse (after a 40+ hour hell transit), and moved me to an almost empty business so I could sleep.
Many airlines will report some unspecified difficulty, and cancel the flight, trying to move passengers onto partner airlines.

This is one of the few areas U.S. carriers best Australian ones: they usually upgrade the passengers. Australian airlines almost never do upgrades.
That’s unusual on that route. United usually packs them in line sardines (second only to Qantas for “it’s a full flight.”)
Well said. How happy wealthy people are doesn’t trickle down either. I want a government that talks about citizens and how well they’re doing across a number of measures of performance, not financial results which only benefit the investor class.
I’m just amused at the inarticulate Hanson and Joyce being able to have an “advanced” talk.
Well spotted, Mark 'Nostradamus' Humphries. #auspol
Barabbas to the Future…
Did Barabbas Loins predict the future of Barnaby Joyce?
We’re at another of those “rock bottom” moments for Hastie and Dutton. Anti-democratic, born to rule filth.
Yep, there’s that feeling of cold revulsion.
One of the worst flights I was ever on was a Sydney to LAX one on United. Old plane and no IFE system, and there was just a large movie screen. The tape got jammed in the player, so they played the same movie six times. Six. “17 Again.” So I turn on my IFE today and the PTSD is still there. 🤣
I think the LNP has lost any ability for grace or positivity. They’re just arrogant, born to rule, “natural party of government” leftovers utterly bereft of any merit or skill. Mindless criticism is their one and only response. Self-awareness does not burden a single one of them.
It’s okay, Susan. Andrew is just carrying a knife because he wants to show you how nice and shiny and sharp it is. Him asking you to turn around is so he can surprise you with it…

Absolutely insane detail.😲💙😎

I think you’re in the group Ronni refers to in her last paragraph: people who can’t.

I am also so sad to read that you are suffering from that, Otto. Depression and anxiety sucks, and nobody deserves that.
Post-truth nonsense from Ley. Her voters are low-information deplorables (Sky News information content is close to zero), and she is simply used to not being challenged on anything by our pathetic media. Shades of the Mango Mussolini.
I heard one of Michelle Rowland’s advisors admit it was unenforceable and utterly pointless technically, but that they needed to do “something” even if it didn’t work. This was before her elevation to AG’s. Thoughts of Sir Humphrey Appleby…
Yeah, cartoon supervillains would look at Shitler and say “dude, too much. Too much.”
Does the IPA still have charity status? Yes, it does, claiming to conduct and disseminate “research on a number of issues that are beneficial to Australia as a whole.” I think they forgot to mention the lies and fascism. www.acnc.gov.au/charity/char...
Anyone else remembering Dutton’s brain fart about offering citizenship to “victim” white South African farmers?
One suspects a dead man’s (woman’s) hand is involved. It’s the only plausible explanation for why Maxwell hadn’t had an “accidental fall from an open window”, Putin-style. No, no evidence, beyond it simply not making any sense otherwise. Also why he is engaged with this pardon process.
