Psylocke was the only reason I was even paying attention to X-Men. I played the fighting game and was all “whoa, who’s this character?” Then I went around a bought any back issues/trading cards I could find with her in/on them

My attempt to restore the artwork of X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse by Juda Tverski used on the cover of the #SuperNintendo (PAL/NA) and #SuperFamicom releases. Used different sources to fill in missing bits, taking few liberties, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process.

Just now realizing that The Monster Squad, Real Ghostbusters Monster toys, and Castlevania made 1987 a very special year for me. I don’t think 6-year-old me even knew who Dracula, Frankenstein’s Creature, and The Mummy even were until I played Castlevania 1.

How does the Neo Geo pads button layout out for the home ports? The stick goes ▶️ABCD just like the arcade, but the pad has CD on top and AB on the bottom. It makes it seem like certain fighting games would have an unnatural feeling button layout
