Sometimes, it seems like America is trapped in two flawed versions of nostalgia. MAGA pretends America was better when WASP males dominated. The Resistance pretends if MAGA were “defeated” we could return to a prelapsarian democracy.
Neither is true. We have to move on to a pragmatic next.

Healthcare in Michigan is too expensive. Private insurers are putting profits over people.
