Reminder that Wal-Mart is the most egregious corporate welfare "double dippers" out there:

First, they grossly underpay employees, forcing them to seek SNAP/welfare. Government subsidizing wages.

THEN, they get all that welfare back in income/profits as employees spend gov benefits into the store.

History shows societies plunging into the pit of fascism almost never self-recover. 20% is wildly optimistic based on history.

Seth goes apeshit on purity politics, which I mostly agree with. There isn't any one "right" way to do this. All the different ways to do this are needed.

No Kings in Columbia MO was BIG! Our march covered half the streets in downtown for nearly an hour. IMHO total participant count was in the 4,000 range.

It was peaceful, it was joyous, it was everything that's right about the community I love.
