"Always happy to see Saskatoon in the morning!" is a sentence I never would have written if not for your series 😄

Depends on why. As a GM, I only split parties if someone get captured, which is rare. My players almost never do it, so it rarely comes up. Could be that there's only 5 PCs and a hench or 2, not much to be gained by separating.

Lots of the usual sea monsters. There's a good-size Kuo Toa kingdom down there. A couple of tribes of whale-hunting sea giants. And a sentient coral reef the size of New Zealand, he's cool.

I can see that argument. I discovered American blues thru the Stones; I think I made it to my 20s before I realized a ton of their early stuff was covers.

During the Covid shutdowns I started a new group online, all new players, all under 25. Forget books, they don't even recognize when my NPCs dialog is song lyrics 🤣

A special post from England. This Long Eared Owl was photographed from 10 metres away in Northumberland by my spouse's cousin who is quite an accomplished bird photographer. He lives in Newcastle.

Free League's Alien RPG is great, would be a good fit. Handles environmental stuff very well (oxygen, radiation, etc.). It uses a stress dice mechanic for fear that is just fantastic. I ran it as a one shot recently, and my players had a blast. Was my first time running the game, very intuitive.

Great photos! Very useful thread- the seasonal variations get very hard to keep track of!

Still looks warm! 😉

I will largely agree, but... I ran Free League's Alien rpg last month, thought the system was great. The stress dice mechanic is so good I might hack it into other games. Fit perfectly with the setting.
