that's how grief is. it's not really a constant thing that slowly gets better, it comes in waves and the waves slowly get smaller and smaller. i hope it gets easier for you, and dont ever feel bad for feeling off bc of this

estir knows how the story ends. she knows her part in it is terrible and wants out, but the story’s already being read and there’s nothing she can do but dig her heels in to try to slow it all down

iri especially thinks so many people would be a better hero than her. she hates being the one people look up to and hates not knowing why.
vinnie was always sweet and kind, even when she was being chased out of towns, so when she finally lost the only thing that she existed for, she changed into-

you know when a character knows theyre the hero but dreads the story continuing? that. like iri hates being the hero, vinnie hates being the villain, and estir wants out of the story at all costs. LOVE when a character knows their role is inescapable but tries anyway

time to go all out, writers. what themes do you explore in your WoL/OCs character?

for example; aurora tackles themes of femininity, motherhood, womanhood, (in some cases) religion. For me when i make decisions as small as gender it can completely alter how I write a character!!
