I am a communist.

That said, I invite liberals into my conversations because I am trying to meet people where they are. I might even like some liberal politicians even as I consider the Democratic party a block to progress. We need systemic change, not a remake of capitalism.

So be kind, please.
Give that girl a snout, some sharp teeth, and big strong arms.
Yeah. Season 1 is still my favorite. They were really leaning into all of the best things about Star Trek, especially classic Trek, and Season 2 had some really solid hits, but was making a few fumbles, but not terribly! Season 3 has been awful for me. Just... it almost made me stop watching!
Agreed! The moment Umberto started lying and hiding what he was doing, that should have been it. That's not a documentary, that is a hit piece, and that he's treated with all smiles later? The episode's just uneven as hell.
Yep. Without insurance covering it, my two insulins cost a combined $10,200 per year. That's just the two insulins, none of the support medications. It's insanity.
Yeah, the whole thing was off. It looks like they wanted to do something bold and then chickened out, ultimately saying nothing good and making quite a few people look very bad in the process.
Holy fuck, Ugmonk wants $100 for some index cards and a wooden block to put them in? What fucking moron would buy this? What privileged, self-absorbed, full monty-esque asshat would pay $100 for something I can buy $3 in the store? Who would be utterly stupid enough to not only buy but promote this?
Is... is this a joke? This is a notepad. Is this a joke?
I've never read this comic, but I 100% support you, and I support talking about something that deserves to be discussed. If we can't open up and talk about the things that affect us, that we can share openly, to commiserate, to empathize, to understand, then what's the point of it all?

Speak away.

Yeah, this sounds like something an Econ professor would say.

The problem with "your feelings are never wrong" is that it leads to Zionists saying "we're afraid of Muslims" and white people saying "I was afraid of that Black person" and cis people saying "trans people are icky groomers."

If my feeling is just my own internal biases talking, the feeling is wrong and I need to tell my biases to shut the fuck up.

Some feelings are wrong, actually. If I feel afraid when I see a Black person on the street, that feeling is wrong. If I feel afraid when I see a Muslim person running for mayor, that feeling is wrong. If a cis person feels afraid when they see a trans person, that feeling is wrong.
Somepony has just brought in the 2025 4th Quarter TPS reports in triplicate.
Fucking eugenicist motherfucker.
I used to love frequenting message boards. I ran my own in the 1990s and 2000s. There was just something nice about having a community meeting area where everyone could just bullshit and joke around or have serious discussions.

That's been replaced by 280 character posts and clickbait.
I've entered my fuckery stage of life. I'm only 45 but I've been leapfrogging years due to all of the shit I've had to deal with up to this point. So I talk about what I like all the time as a furry, as a Star Trek and My Little Pony fan.

Someone can't wait to hate what you love.

Fuck 'em. :)

People get upset when I say all white people are racist, including me.

But acknowledging that we are racists who do racist things doesn't mean that we are bad or doomed people. It means we can do better. We cannot fight what we do not acknowledge. Recognizing our instincts is how we can fight them.

I love that scene. "Aye, I'm working on it," and everyone around him looks at each other like "oh shit." lol
It is easy to miss if you're used to seeing them every day.
It did do some good, but because of the capitalist system it's built upon, the benefit is shrinking day after day as costs continue to rise because capitalism is insatiable, it is the ideology of a cancer cell. A compromise is fine in the short term, but never in the long term.
To a degree, I would agree. You push for the strongest position and in areas you may have to compromise. It does come with some caveats. For example, I don't compromise when it comes to human rights. That means we protect all people, women, minorities, LGBTQ+ folks, all of them. Otherwise, it's no.
Karoline Leavitt is a Nazi, and I don't give a fuck if people think it's being overused. The fact is our government is being invaded by them, that's why so many people are talking about it. When Nazis show up, you point them out. That's what you do.

Karoline Leavitt is Axis Sally.
