We aren't engaged against the Republicans of 2004, so it doesn't matter if they were or were not nazis then.

It matters that they're nazis now, yeah. So we should focus on that rather than trying to decipher when exactly they made the switch.

Here's my take on it: it doesn't fucking matter if Republicans were Nazis in 2004, or 2014, or 1974 or 1404.

Republicans *today* are Nazis and we have to fight the them *today.* When we're wringing our hands asking about when they made the switch from conservatives to nazis, we're wasting time.
