If you ever want to check out an alternative for variety, try the Chillhop Music channel. It‘s good!
Thanks, great topic! Added to my list. Meanwhile: yes, they work, got a full schedule for weeks after initial announcement, mixture of colleagues I knew already and new people, mostly referrals. Mostly career advice and some startup advice. After the summer holidays, I need to promote again.
Just started my own YouTube channel! 🎉

Feeling… a bit nervous, tbh. 😬

Anyway: What topics would you like to see me talk about on video?

Happy Thursday, everyone 😀
🇨🇦 Canada is sending out agents into the streets of Toronto to deal with foreigners
Same goes for IDEs and other 1st party apps.
Not sure yet another browser with ”it has our AI in it!” is going to help much.

People tend to marry their tools, and tool habits are hard to change.

I prefer @anthropic.com‘s approach to integrate with whatever tools their users prefer through MCPs, Skills, CLI, plugins or OS hooks.
So I got an email with a CSV of a conference agenda, dropped it into Claude on my mobile and asked it to figure out which sessions I should go to. A bit of back and forth and now I have my schedule neatly in Google Calendar (once we figured out the UTC/MESZ/MEZ timezone wintertime mess 🙄).
Worried about your job, the economy, or politics?

The good news is: you’ve survived 100% of your worst days already! This one won’t be different.

Here’s what helped me move from worry to action during tough times:

It is becoming more and more difficult to rent an EV in Germany (Munich). Most model options and availability have all but vanished from major car rental companies. WTF?
Did they over-invest 3-4 years ago, then pulled the plug (sic) too early?
Get a dog! „Das letzte Kind hat Fell“ 😄🐾
Just added a neat @bsky.app feed widget to my blog’s sidebar, showing my last 5 updates. Thanks to @anthropic.com’s Claude Code, it was built in an hour from idea to deployment, it’s leaner than a canned widget, and it integrates perfectly with the rest of my blog’s stack.

♻️ adrianco: I don’t have time or patience to do development work myself any more. This is fun because new working things appear quickly without the hassle. So I’m building things because I can, and because I don’t have to convince someone else to fund them or wait a long… https://mastodon.social/@a…

In case you missed it, the new Chill Study Beats mix is up.

Now with a Pomodoro timer built in (25/5).

Also available on YouTube, for when “I’ll start after this song” becomes the whole study plan.

Today for dinner: home-made ”Yakitori Don“, though I cheated a bit by using ready-made Teriyaki Sauce 😅.
Jeremy Utley: “You can’t require what you won’t do.”

I like his idea of an “AI Sherpa” for execs, but I like the idea of execs doing real learning better. When it comes to learning, opportunity costs are overrated.
