Honestly I could keep going, so I will.

I buy all game studios on the planet. The only reason I do this is so I can make an update to each currently available game. The only change is to replace all sound effects with the Ed, Edd, & Eddy sound library.

I would buy a recurring 2am ad slot on every cable network in the US.

This ad slot lasts for 5 minutes and simply displays a photo of a blue lobster, paired with the song "bloopin"

There was this really good Pho place in a mall not far from us & it was our go-to spot and then it closed and got replaced by a fuckin' Popeyes 😭

Oil temp might have been another factor, it's extremely hard to keep the temperature consistent on our glass top so it fluctuated a lot

Verdict: They turned out a little bit doughy, but still delicious!

Feel like the dough maybe didn't rise as much as it was supposed to? so maybe that's got something to do with it.

Anyway I think a lot about how modern engine pipelines are placing increasing emphasis on physically accurate materials & measured values & using industry standard film curves and extremely dense meshes and

It all still looks kinda weird because our lighting is still kinda fucked & we can't fix it

This is why somewhat stylized games still tend to look better, even with far fewer fancy cutting edge techniques.

The less realistic your image is, then you get far more wiggle room in terms of image fidelity.

But in the meantime we're kind of just.... Ignoring the fact that lighting will never look right until we can do that, and choosing to chase a bunch of other random stuff and hoping it will make the image look better

And it kinda sorta does, but not nearly as much as it needs to.
