Just had a chat with my therapist about the Zombie Apocalypse, the Rapture, and passive suicidal ideation and she was like "yes". I mean it was obvs more nuanced than that but the gist is that she thought I'm on the right track and she wants to read this essay.

Dear social media staffer for @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social, you guys are doing awesome work and I hope more candidates entering the fray will take your example and run with it.

That said, please consider employing Alt Text. Zohran seems to be about accessibility. Alt Text makes images accessible. 🙏🏾

I don't interact in YouTube comments much because a lot of the time it's a wasteland, but Brian Eno's comments are consistently so chill and often people tell moving stories about someone who introduced them to some particular piece of music. It's just really nice.

I had a thread about the Zombie Apocalypse and the Rapture but in the middle of writing it, a series of realizations caused it to turn into maybe an essay about these two events and what (in my mind) they have to do with passive suicidal ideation. I bet I'm gonna have to do research now. Augh

I just realized that "unpaid work" didn't mean "thing I did for myself" and I'm sorry that you got the short end of things.

I didn't see where that was going, and I loved it!

Damn this article is lengthy and thorough but wack. The message that if the group chat leaked they'd be cooked, makes me laugh because obvs it's totally leaked.

Most excited to write about Tonneit, who ought to be the main character because she's my favorite. Alack, she is the deuteragonist. She's easily the most complex and mysterious character in the story. I love her.

In the background in orange and pink tones sits a massive city, behind which orange mountains rise into a dusty orange sky
In the foreground 3 punks perch on the edge of a building, surrounded by litter and soda cans. The punk on the left wears a blue jacket that says die young on the back.

The text Blister City can be seen in the sky above the city. Wow there are period stores! Two in the US, about ten globally. What the heck? We have sex accoutrements shops but not period shops? I love a good sex accoutrements shop but I'd love a period shop even more. They have a museum! They sell lots of different stuff! youtube.com/shorts/6STIx...
Why isn’t there a period 🩸 store in every city? #shorts

It’s always fun when the website goes down because there’s a chance the last post will be one of my terrible business ideas and everyone will be refreshing on a post that says “Applesauce for male strippers called Alpha Apple Pleasure Mush”

I call that a fictoir. Thinking of writing one* and saying up front a bunch of it is completely made up and have fun figuring out what's what. I'm totally down with lying memoirs as long as they admit they're full of half truths, tall tales, and straight up imaginations.
