the starfriends have been on a journey for millions of years, but it only took 7 hours for them to find a home with you ✨ grab a deck or incept the campaign into your friends dreams today!

two starfriends greeting a new, glowing yellow starfriend. the glowing one has text that reads "funded in 7 hours!" and the other two, floating in space under the "starfriends" logo, are saying
"that's like nothing"
"we are eon's old"
That black sticky tar that seeps from roads during really hot days. I appreciate its utility but I do NOT appreciate its attachment issues

i would say getting your kickstarter funded in seven hours is a five-out-of-five-star concept

Yess!!! Great game for people who love having Opinions and Friends
Looking for a party game that combines social deduction with the pleasant absurdity of rating animals, films, and the weather on a scale of ★ to ★★★★★? And it's just a simple deck of cards? AND it's live on Kickstarter now?!?! Guess what, STARFRIENDS has launched! www.kickstarter.com/projects/bra...
Starfriends: The 5-Star Game About What Everyone Else Thinks
A party game where you get into your friends' heads. Kinda like a blend of Wavelength and Letterboxd that fits into a deck of cards.

this game is both very fun and easy to learn and as a special bonus you get to discover your friends' weirdest opinions about everyday objects

shucking corn on the porch on a warm summer evening - satisfying and peaceful. but NOT five stars because the little stringy bits are honestly pretty annoying

wow everyone loves cum park plaza
Five star review: “Just moved to Burlington, was driving around to get to know the area and saw this absolute gem!
I was literally screaming with joy in my car.
Beautiful place and perfect for a family gathering or simply to bring the little ones grocery shopping. I'll be cumming every day...
Maybe even twice a day.” Another five star review: “Great place to take someone for a first date, l took my sweetie here and after fifteen minutes we've been together 15 years, come back for the anniversary and park just like we used to. Bring a change of pants.” Another five stars! “I've been cumming here a lot! I really like this plaza, the parking is really convenient and big so I can cum and go as I please. Only down side, is during the rush hour when everyone cums at the same time, makes it hard to pull out of the parking lot “ A person falling to their knees in front of cum park plaza sign. “Among the best experiences of my life. I'd rate six stars if I could.”
excuse me the what park plaza
a shopping center in North Carolina with the name “cum park plaza” and it’s important for screen readers to note the spelling is “cum” like what are we doing here people has anyone been online in 20 years here or what
the thing about getting bumbled by a bumblebee is it’s embarrassing for both of you
I find it incredibly funny that Apple gave the watergate hotel its “distinguished building” treatment
a 3d view of the Kennedy center and watergate hotel in Apple Maps app. Both are rendered in a pseudo photorealistic illustrative way, standing out from neighboring flat-colored 3d buildings.

our new game, in brief! friend 1 gets a card with say ★★ on it, friend 2 pulls a ★★★★ card. then you draw a topic, maybe “animal,” and pick one (1) animal you think friend 1 would rate ★★ and friend 2 would rate ★★★★. guess right and win their card(s)! on KS soon: www.kickstarter.com/projects/bra...

this really boils it down nicely.

"Jimmy Kimmel would have had to piss off 20 owners to end up with a suspension before, now, it's one"
Reddit comment by user kylehatesyou.
Nexstar's CEO is a right wing goon that gives a platform to the shittiest people you remember like Bill O'Reilly and Chris Cuomo on their Newsnation cable news network. They have a clear bias and will be looking for any reason to express it and silence voices in this moment of chaos.
This isn't really about Jimmy Kimmel. We have been failed by our government for decades. The institution that failed us this time was the FCC. Under Reagan and Clinton (and likely now Trump who, Sook, the CEO of Nexstar, hopes will allow him to own even more stations) which removed limits on how many stations an individual entity could own means that Nexstar and their 197 stations nationwide (more than 20 times the amount of over the air (OTA) stations you could own before ownership limits were weakened/ repealed) have a lot more power than they would have 30 to 40 years ago. Jimmy Kimmel would have had to piss off 20 owners to end up with a suspension before, now, it's one.
There is still a limit on the number of OTA stations you can own, but it basically leaves room for three major players to control the narrative. Sook is hoping that the current limit that you can only own stations that reach less than 40% of the country, will be repealed completely by Trump, so he can work towards a media monopoly, and end up with even less diversity of thought allowed on our televisions. When you ask yourself why things don't seem to be as good as they used to be, or why the institutions are failing, how we can end up with someone like Trump leading the country, well there you go. That rule just applies to OTA broadcast media, now multiply it across every corporate sector, and the weakened regulations, the failure to enforce antitrust laws through the rubber stamp of every merger and acquisition, the only big laws getting passed giving tax breaks or handouts to already giant corporations so they can acquire more and more while killing good paying jobs through consolidation and offshoring and you see the reason everything fucking sucks. It's not just Kimmel they'll come after.
They want to own everything, and they got their guy in office that will let them do that and are doing everything they can to keep that power.
