Remembering that time I got sent to Frankfurt Book Fair just before starting work at an Irish publishers, so I knew absolutely nothing and no one, wore new shoes (very stupid) and stayed in a pokey granny flat in a suburban house, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer in German and eating pot noodles.
