I've thought about this often since long before Trump but especially since. We live in a country of such enormous abundance & wealth that a single man has the capacity to eradicate hunger around the world & still have enough money to last a hundred lifetimes. Yet here we are. Struggling to survive.

Black people, Jews, the homeless...their attacks were vicious and relentless. Having lived among "libs" my whole life, I'd never experienced such virulent hatred before, which I'm sure will only have escalated under Trump.

I made the horrible mistake of unknowingly sharing a table with a group of Young Republicans at a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles after work one evening about 40 years ago. When it became apparent my views were very different from theirs, they attacked me so viciously I fled the table in tears.

Debbie Brockman of WGN in Chicago has hired an attorney and plans to fight back against her unlawful arrest and detention by ICE.

Freedom of the press is under attack.

Tackling and arresting journalists is another step towards state run media.
