Taking this opportunity to give my long-winded recommendation for Jamie Paige's Constant Companions (Deluxe). My advice would be to just listen to the first few tracks - but if you need more convincing, read on 🧵https://jamiepaige.bandcamp.com/album/constant-companions-deluxe-edition

Windows 10 support ends on October 14 and there's a link floating around with instructions to enroll for an additional year of security updates, but I'm not linking to that chatgpt article so here's what you do.

Meanwhile, the TV in the waiting room blares about Kendall Jenner's beauty operations, with sound bites specifically mentioning a machine by name. A banner stands alongside, extolling the virtues of that same machine. I calm myself with a reminder: my session is with a different machine & purpose
I have the same feeling every time I do a session of laser hair removal. I am here because my stubble defeats any sort of foundation application. Another woman is here because it was a gift from her boyfriend. I pray that it's a conversation that she started, but it's hard to remain optimistic
I'm not one to kiss and tell. So instead I'm just repeating things in my head over and over
first base is when you kiss her balls. a foul is when you bite her balls. a bunt is when you let her balls kiss you
Related, looking for a "youtube to mp3" conversion site that:

1. Isn't slower than dial-up, and
2. Doesn't have 37 pieces of pay-per-click bullshit

I'll give you my life savings. Please.
the next tech thing after AI should be making it so you can save video as easily as you can save images and gifs i hate this shit
For a super long time, any video I downloaded off of bsky would have no sound and would crash my video player because of some fucked up encoding error, and then mine went back to normal around the time that everyone started reporting errors. Try an alchemic ritual or s/t

if my entire argument for banning trans women in sports was that cis men are pretending to be trans women to win against cis women

and I tried to make a documentary about it but could not find any cis men willing to do the thing i said cis men do

i would simply never show my face in public again
4. Tough one, I don't have anything for the people I'd rather forget - but Dreams by LISA reminds me a lot of my friend that passed away in his 20s in mid 2020. One of the final memories I have of him was when he sung along to Blackpink's DDU-DDU-DU walking by the dance stage at pax east 2020
3. Another one that feels like a cheat, Hot Summer by f(x), ahead of their time like always. This one is also on my "Hot" playlist (of songs that have "hot" in the title)

1. Not sure if it counts but Colors by Utada Hikaru. I used to watch this music video on my netbook on the bus to school. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv7O...

and I feel like I appreciated them more having listened to the original before the new ones were out. Again it's available to stream many places so you can try before you buy.
"(Deluxe Edition)? Should I listen to the non-deluxe first?"

Actually, maybe? Unlike other deluxe editions the new songs are placed strategically within the album so that it still flows. A few of the songs have a ton of leitmotifs or samples from the older songs (7/8)
FAQ

"But I don't even like vocaloid!"
Vocaloid is one of those instruments that's strongly associated with a particular genre, this album is proof that it can grow beyond that genre. Please try it. (6/7)
It's that good, so good that I've been sorely tempted to tag every single one of my followers and following and bug them to listen, and I'm making it my pinned. If you listen to no other recommendation I ever give, make it this one. (5/7)
But also every song fucking slaps (even if some of them slap in more of a sensitive way than an intensive dance vibe). The only reason I haven't listened to this album all the way through in the past few weeks is because I listened to it multiple times a day for a month before that. (4/?)
sound desperate, or even swear like a sailor (with purpose). It's also one of those albums that is made to listen to all at once, in order, and it's pretty good when it loops too. The overarching themes are simple but timeless, and the personal importance to the artist is clear (🏳️‍⚧️🤔❓) - (3/?)
Constant companions is a vocaloid/vocal synth album, but with emotion and soul, and duets with a human singer, and amen breaks and leitmotifs. It is irrefutable proof that with the right tuning a vocal synth can sound just as human as any singer; you can make them falter, or lose their breath,(cont)

I've been training my cat to know it's breakfast time when my alarm goes off, so she doesn't bug me if I'm still asleep. If I'm up before my alarm, I just set a short timer so she still hears the food sound when it's food time
