Comment sections becoming cesspools is the first step to censorship. Never mind the toxic culture it generates - when comments get that bad, automatic censorship is seen as a fix, and when THAT gets accepted, people like me get censored when saying words against powerful companies.

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Royce Duplessis (D)- 23.9%
Oliver Thomas (D)- 17.8%

Only hope for Duplessis/Thomas is that the e-day vote is less Moreno-friendly, because she wins outright if she stays above 50%.

What sucks extra is - they claim it as tax deductible. Every penny you give, the corporations DOESN'T pay into the social welfare of the nation (taxes). Every penny you give is like a negative tax.
