no but it pisses me off when people are like "the story would be the same without sex scenes"

maybe if you didn't cover your eyes during them you'd understand the emotional significance of what is happening in the scene

just bc you dislike it doesn't mean it has no relevance to the story

Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.
