the thing is that fe3h was basically created in a lab to inspire fanworks… the sheer number of characters and dynamics and variety things that can happen to them depending on how you can play and the gaps in the narrative that beg to be expanded on… like during the flashback even this year there

"I know," Ingrid responded. Of course Ingrid would understand; Dorothea had told her extensively about her own childhood, and Ingrid had had her own struggles growing up. "We should look into it. I can't do so personally, unfortunately. I have to get to Fhirdiad—"

"I'll help," Dorothea interjected. She waved a hand as Ingrid opened her mouth to object. "No, it's fine. I can see the capital some other time. This is important."

Ingrid nodded quietly, and Dorothea couldn't help but be touched by the disappointment on her face. They had planned this trip for a while, and Dorothea suspected Ingrid might have an important question for her. It could wait, though; these children needed help.

Ashe smiled, though it was tentative. "Thanks, Thea, though we don't have any leads."

Dorothea beamed. "Oh don't you worry about that, my dear Ashe. You and I know just the guy."
