I already have Morn'star (who is my actual sona/insert for the game long before Aym pinged as a kin/alter) to explore being Trans in Ishgard. And honestly? I think writing the two together and getting both perspectives actually feels really nice.

It's funny-- as a trans guy, i compulsively make my characters trans. So me keeping Aym as a cis guy is different for me. But i've just found writing a queer man raised with all the societal expectations of how to BE a man in a place like Ishgard so fucking fascinating.
