Was I disabled before this? Yes, absolutely. But y'all took away my ability to adapt my life to my needs over time and agency over my body. Now I wake up in pain everyday and those infrequent flares from before meare now my daily life.

Thinking about how I was being active every day to build my confidence and happiness by moving my body... And then I got COVID and developed long COVID, so now I'm lucky if I can take my dog on a walk without throwing up. :-)

And furthermore, no one is immune from becoming disabled or chronically ill, especially if they catch COVID. That includes you.

Masking in public, especially when you're indoors or around a lot of people outdoors (such as at a concert/protest or other crowded event), is a really easy way to 1) show solidarity with disabled and chronically ill people and 2) not get anyone sick.

COVID is still here and still dangerous.
